5/28 Wishlist c:

My birthday's on May 28, this Tuesday!

I'm pretty excited c: this is the first year in a while when my birthday
falls on the actual day I was born on.

This is just my personal wishlist, more of a reference post.

I usually end up saving money on the side for a lot of them, and use my birthday money
for the rest heheh.  But I'm on a tight budget this year trying to save for the big move-out....
so they're in order of personal importance.  I want to go visit a lot of places
over the summer so I'm putting a slice of money aside for that too!

Friday/Saturday 1-day pass to AnimeExpo 2013

I haven't gone to AX yet!  I was hoping to go to ComicCon this year

(I went to the 2008 event) but the tickets sold out crazy-quick, and I couldn't

get one in time.  AX is kind of far, but it might also be a good chance

to ride the train up to Los Angeles. c:

Fujifilm Instax 8 Mini in Blue or Yellow + film

(I've always wanted a polaroid/instant photo camera, and I heard that these
produce BETTER looking photos than the actual Polaroid!
Plus they're much lighter and come in a lot of nice colors.  But Fujifilm
makes both Polaroids and its own Instax now, which is surprising - you'd think
they'd have the same quality photos.)

Disneyland tickets!
I haven't been in a couple of years. I was supposed to go on the
graduation trip but they ran out of bus seats, and when the waitlist opened
I found out my friend couldn't go because he wasn't in the same college (there's
six "colleges" in my uni). ;c  It's really expensive though, so this might
have to wait until I get a job and save a bit more.

Mini CHOYA Umeshu .u.

They come in a really small single serve for about $2.

I've only ever had this once, but it's really sweet (it's kind of strong,

but ONE single-serve isn't enough to make you tipsy at all).

This is p much the best drink I've had, & the only one 

that doesn't make me want to chuck the bottle over a fence.

(The little plum floating around in it was kind of odd-tasting; my dad ended up eating it.)

Moo Sticker Sheet
This company will print 90 mini stickers, of photos, as a
sticker book for you!  They're supposedly very longlasting and durable
vinyl stickers.  All the photos can be different too - so that's 90 different stickers!
It also comes in 52 rounds or 52 rectangles, which are bigger than the
ones in the stickerbook.  But they all cost $9.99, a ton cheaper than purikura booths!

Hello all! 

I've always been kind of sad that during school, I'm balancing

so many thingBlas - schoolwork, blog, tumblr, friends, and job-searching - that

I don't get to really watch anime/TV shows, play games, or read books etc.

Recently this quarter (of course I wouldn't think of this until the last quarter, sigh)

I've started putting aside a half-hour every weekday to play a game I was saving for break,

or watching one episode of a series I'd planned to watch.  

I've actually felt a lot less stressed!  And I don't end up marathon-ing through an

entire series (& ending with feeling sad that it was over so fast).

My boyfriend thought I should be accurate and just watch one episode per WEEK, so 

it'd be like actually keeping up with the show when it was currently running, but I'm not 

nearly patient enough for that!  

(FYI I mostly pick up shows that are already complete so 

I can get the whole torrent - if you want a copy of the torrent/link to it, leave a note

in the comments and I'll give it to you!  I can't post them on the blog because the post gets

flagged and taken down ...trust me it happened before. :c )

Pikachu 3DS XL! ♥

 I got my Pikachu 3DS XL this past Tuesday, 2 days after it was released!  

It's supposed to be for my graduation present c: but I'm taking

pictures and posting about it now because I really wanted to take a look at it.

This is a really big deal for me because I don't usually go in for updating my game console
every time a new one comes out (usually the new one plays the previous console's games anyway),
& when we do buy a console it's been the larger ones for multiplayer games (aka PS3).
I'm so glad I decided not to get a 3DS back when they came out - originally I didn't like the 3D aspect because it made mea bit dizzy, so I'll probably play with the 3D setting off/super low.  The big thing on this
imo is the really nice large screen, and the longer battery life.  My sister got the Legend of Zelda special 3DS back in 2011 for Christmas.  As pretty as that edition was, I was a Pokemon kid so I'm biased toward this one!
  

(With school starting on Monday I'm not really going to be able to play much anyway, 

so it's not so hard to wait until June to open in - I wouldn'tve played until summer vacay!)

I was worried they were going to sell out of it everywhere since I waited so long,

and I saw the kerfuffle on Tumblr... but luckily a store in El Cajon had ONE more left 

and the lady there put it on hold for me. (  .u.) b

Here's everything that came in the box: charger cord, instruction manuals, & AR cards.

Here he is!  I did sort of see how people were saying the camera lenses looked like nipples..

but it's not (too) obvious!  It's a nice size - my sister has a standard 3DS and it's way bigger

in comparison (more than I was expecting).  It's also really smooth - it's fun to pet hold it c: I guess

it goes with the XL being designed for kids, or so I've heard?
(I'm getting a clear shell to help prevent scratches .x. )

& here's the case I got with it - Princess Peach c:

so now my 3DS won't get scratched, hopefully (I'm

the kind of person who always has that happen to me, so

I've learned my lesson the hard way ^^; )

It has a bunch of pockets for games, and a really cute pattern 

on the inside too.  Plus it came with two styluses 

(the flower is my favorite ;u; ).

And a bunch of illustrated AR cards to access games 

(I like the Kirby one myself,  but I have a feeling my sis 

would like the Link card c: )

I don't have any 3DS games - all of mine are regular DS games.  But I'm excited now

for the Pokemon XY coming out c: (now that I can actually play it).  

& I want to play TWEWY on the larger screen, yay!  Also I want to try out

the 3D camera, I wonder if you can view the photos in 3D on a laptop or such?

Also on the subject of games: expect a few game reviews coming up - 

I've been playing Bayonetta and Resident Evil 6 over spring break.
